Yvonne was born July 2, 1937, in Willow City, ND to "Ed" and Fern (Springer) Crawford. Following high school, Yvonne attended Minot Business College and married Glenn R. Yvonne taught Sunday school and was a member of Circle at United Parish in Bottineau. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW. Yvonne loved bowling, bingo, and traveling. Her family particularly recalls the many trips taken together to Medora, the Hudson Bay, and Yellowstone National Park.

In 2013, Glenn and Yvonne moved to Willow City, ND. In 2016, they moved to Fargo, ND, to be closer to family. Yvonne was a beloved member of her community where she called bingo, helped organize potlucks, touched all with her gift for warm conversation, and was a welcoming, compassionate voice for those who were less fortunate.
