Wayne Rosendahl, age 62 of Souris, died Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at a Fargo hospital.  A private funeral will be held.  Visitation will be Monday, November 23, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.

Wayne Rosendahl, a son of Arlyn and Judy (Matteson) Rosendahl, was born on November 8, 1958 in Bottineau.  He was raised near Westhope and graduated from Westhope High School in 1977.  He then went to the ND State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND and earned is his Degree in Agriculture.  He returned to Westhope and began working on the family farm.  Wayne retired from farming in 2018.

Wayne was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Westhope.  He was generous and fun loving.  He was know for his sense of humor and hearty laugh.  He was kind, honest and enjoyed his privacy.  He enjoyed trips to Arizona, good food and hugs.

He is survived by his fiancé, Kathy Williams; 2 children; brother, Randy (Jody) Rosendahl of Bottineau; sister, Vickie (Reidar) Clausen of Haysville, KS nieces and nephews; Ryan, Krista, Landon, Kelsey, Kayla, Karlee, Alyssa, Reid, Jayden, Josh, Luke and Kiara; great nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Donna Olson; brother-in-law, Roger; sisters-in-law, Pat and Lisa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles.
