Tyler Moen, age 44 of Newburg, ND passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at his home near Newburg. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 10:30 am at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church near Upham. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.
Tyler John Moen (44) left this earth unexpectedly on January 6, 2022. Tyler was born on March 6, 1977, to Kenneth and Sandra Moen at Trinity Hospital in Minot, North Dakota. His big sister Heather welcomed him and later he was joined by a little brother Vincent.
Tyler attended school in Bottineau and graduated in 1995 from Bottineau High School. He was a quiet kid and a good friend. He enjoyed playing hockey and racing cars north of Bottineau at the track. Tyler also enjoyed hunting, snow skiing, and snowmobiling. He also spent some time working at the Skidoo shop.
On July 16, 2004, Tyler and Kylee (Keller) were married at New Hope Lutheran Church in Upham, North Dakota. Kylee and Tyler lived on the farm near Newburg where Tyler pursued his passion of farming. Tyler and Kylee have three beautiful daughters who were Tyler's pride and joy. Katelyn Jodell was born July 3, 2008, Kendra Elaine born November 23, 2010, and Kyler Jo born February 11, 2014. Tyler loved his girls and would do anything and everything for them. All three girls had daddy wrapped around their fingers. Tyler loved farming and the farm life. He was a friend to all and would help anyone with anything. Tyler took after his mom and enjoyed preparing food for all to enjoy. His girls often requested his baked beans. Tyler will forever be remembered as a kind soul with a big heart. He will be missed by so many.
Tyler is survived by: his wife Kylee and three daughters, Katelyn, Kendra, and Kyler (Newburg) Father Kenneth Moen (Kramer), Sister Heather (Jeremy) Brandt (Beulah), Brother Vincent (Samantha) Moen (Newburg), Grandmother Elaine Glinz (Minot), Mother & Father-in-Law Daniel and Jodie Keller (Upham), Brother-in-Law Kent (Christina) Keller (Towner), Sister-in-Law Kasey (Robert) Mohagen (Towner), Nephews Reese Mohagen, Brodey Keller, Trey Brandt, Colton Spaeth, Maverick Moen, Dexter Moen, Nieces Hanah Brandt, Sidney Keller, Ana Mohagen, Sierra Keller, Hazel Moen, Emree Mohagen, Shevelle Keller, Ella Mohagen, Sandy Moen, Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Tyler is proceeded in death by his Mother Sandra Moen, Grandparents: Willis Glinz, and Edwin & Judith Moen.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to Farm Rescue.
Arrangements were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Friends may sign the online register book at www.nerofuneralhome.net .
His funeral will be livestreamed on the church's facebook page.
