Thomas Fred McGarry, age 85, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on August 14, 2024.

Tom grew up on the family farm in Willow City, North Dakota, until entering the Air Force in 1958. After the service, he moved with his family to Oregon. He attended Machinist Technical School, and then worked in the aerospace and lumber equipment industry. In 1978, he, along with his wife Louise, started a business in their home garage, which turned into a very successful manufacturing company in Portland, OR. After retiring in 2002, he was able to enjoy time with his family, RV traveling, hunting, camping, and his true passion for building hot-rods. He thoroughly enjoyed his car hobby and car show enthusiasts, making many friends along the way. He loved Jesus, and was fortunate to have a strong church community wherever it was he travelled.

Tom is survived by his wife, Louise, sons; Brent (Bobbie Jo), Todd (Shellyann), daughter; Shawna McGarry Cosgrove (Dan), Sisters; Diane Cooper, Julie Barless, Brother; Corey, four Grandchildren, and three Great Grandchildren.

Tom is predeceased by his parents Fred and Constance, Brother; Keith, and Sister; Sharon.
