Funeral Services for Terry Chase, age 60, will be held on Tuesday May 10th at 10:00 AM at the Log Cabin in Dunseith. Officiating is Pastor Gary Dorn and special music provided by the Moen family.

Terry Chase, a son of Clyde and Louise(Peltier)Chase, was born on July 10th 1961 in Belcourt. He attended the Dunseith Day School and completed his education at the Turtle Mountain High School. Then he began working on the family ranch near Dunseith. For a few years he worked at Marvin Windows and for a time he lived in Devils Lake. Terry spent his last year at Heartland Nursing Home where he enjoyed being the younger one on the block.

Terry enjoyed animals, especially cats and horses. In his younger years he enjoyed horse back riding and always had his favorite horse. He enjoyed checking on the horses and other lifestock in the pasture. Terry loved getting together with family to go out to eat and go riding four wheelers.

Terry passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at a Devils Lake nursing home.

Terry is survived by four sisters, Goldie Westerfield of Phoenix, AZ and Gloria(Tom) Elliott of Sarona, Wl, Cherie Chase and Toni Chase both of Dunseith; three brothers, Joe Chase of Kansas City, KS, Lyle Chase of Devils Lake,ND and Van Chase of Bismarck, ND. Aunts, Marlene (Dave) Dauphinais of Belcourt and Genevieve Jerome of Copalis Beach, WA; nephews and neices and great nephews and neices.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Louise Chase and brothers Chester, Bob, Harold, Leroy, and George. Nephew, Mike Elliott and other great neices and nephews and aunts and uncles.
