Stanley Carl Newman, age 81 of Bottineau, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

Stan was born on July 6, 1936 in Akeley, MN to Carl William and Annette (Schroeder) Newman.  He lived most of life in the Nevis-Park Rapids, MN Area.  Stan married Janice G. Pearson on July 16, 1957.  Seven children were born to this union.

He is survived by his wife, Janice of Bottineau; 3 sons, LeRoy (Nancy) of MN, Rick of MN and Jack (Tuana) of NY; daughters, Pauline (Tom) Culbertson of KS and Sandra Newman of MN and many grand children, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Stan was preceded in death by his son, Billy; daughter, Sharon and 2 brothers; Larry and Edwin.
