Scott Luallen Thompson, age 61, of Bottineau, ND, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025 at his home.

Scott Thompson, son of Leonard “Bob” and Joan (Metz) Thompson was born on August 22, 1963. He lived a life marked by simple pleasures, cherished game nights with his family, and the joy of working with his hands. He loved spending time working in his garage, from fixing household items and mechanical issues, to hunting down a rare Hot Wheels find, he approached life with a curious spirit and a generous heart.

He was a truly loving partner, father and friend to all who knew him.

He was previously married to Kathy (Hoopman) Thompson. Scott is survived by his daughter, Bambi Thompson (Todd) of Bottineau. At the time of his passing, he shared his life with his loving partner, Carla Morris, and cherished her children and grandchildren as his own bonus family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Joan, and his brothers, Vaughn and Darwin.

A private family graveside service will be held at Oak Creek Cemetery to honor his memory, and a memorial tree will be planted in his honor at Forestry Park.
