Rosaline (Rose) Sund, age 90, died Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Good Samaritan Home in Bottineau, ND. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Rose was the daughter of Frederick and Viva (Parmeter) Sund from Newburg, ND. She was born on April 21, 1935. She was the youngest of five children. Her siblings were John (Jack) Sund, Iris Henning, Beth Smette, and Lloyd Sund.

Rose married Virgil Potter from Souris, ND. They lived and raised three daughters, Jacqueline, Joan, and Jill, in Newburg. She and the girls moved to Bottineau, ND, in 1967 where she married Ned Miller. Their son, Eric, was born in Bottineau. Rose and Ned moved to Austin, TX with Eric and Jill for a short time. Rose went on to work as a nanny and caregiver in several places across the country ending up in Minot where she stayed until moving to Good Samaritan almost two years ago where she died peacefully.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. The end of an era! She is survived by her children; Jacqueline and her three sons, Michael (Shannon), Floyd (Mandy) and Derek (Kaycee); Joan (Gene) and her two sons, Jesse (Kristen) and Zachry (Kaley) ; Jill (Bruce) and their children, Virginia (Scott), Jacob (Tracey) and Alida (Sam); and Eric. She also has several great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She will also be warmly missed by many nieces and nephews (each of which was "her favorite").

Rose loved life and lived it to the fullest. She will be missed!
