Ronald Larson, age 69 of Overly, ND,  passed away on November 3, 2019 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Willow Creek Lutheran Church in Overly.

Ronald Clarence Larson, a son of Clarence E and Clara R. (Hagen) Larson, was born on January 5, 1950 in Rolette.  Ron lived his entire life  around Overly and Willow City.  He attended elementary School in Overly and he graduated from in 1968.  While in high school, Ron participated in basketball and baseball. After high school, Ron joined the National Guard.  He farmed with his father and uncle.  He enjoyed making repairs to machinery and welding.  He later drove truck near Pembina and Cando, hauling sugar beets and potatoes.

Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Many fox and rabbits were dispatched while driving the "snowplane" or the "bug".

He is survived by his sister, Barbara (Mark) Evanger of Mandan; nieces and nephews, Kimberly (Mark) Sommers, Melanie (Travis) Bullinger, Karen (Allen) Huggins, Kirk (Gina) Larson, Mark (Lisa) Larson, Todd (Kim) Larson and Brent (Kristi) Evanger and many great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his parents, uncle, Charles Larson; sister-in-law, Donna Larson; niece, Lisa Knoepfle; brother-in-law, Ronald Culhane; brother, Curtis Larson and sister, Peggy Culhane.
