Robert Bruce Mjoen joined his Heavenly Father peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, April 24th, at the North Dakota Veterans Home in Lisbon, ND.

Robert was bom on September 14,1955, in Bottineau, ND, to Helen (Watland) and John Alfred Mjoen. He graduated from Newburg High School with honors and continued his education at NDSU Bottineau, later attending NDSU Fargo.

Answering the call to serve his country, Robert joined the United States Air Force, where he served honorably and traveled extensively, including six years stationed in Europe. After completing his service, Robert returned to the family farm in Newburg for a few years before moving to Minot, where he lived until 2O22, when he made his home at the ND Veterans Home in Lisbon.

Robert, at age 69, was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Linda Willis and Sandra Spencer; brothers, Marlin Mjoen and Timothy Mjoen; brothers-in-law, Ron Willis and Jim Spencer; and nephews, Wayne Willis, Jeremy Mjoen, and John Allen Mjoen. He is survived by his brother, John (Carolyn) Mjoen of Newburg, ND, along with several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Robert will be remembered for his quiet strength, his deep devotion to his Lord, and his faithful service to his country.
