Richard Allery, age 72 of Dunseith, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at a Minot hospital.  His funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 10:00 am at the St. Michael's Catholic church in Dunseith.  Richard will be laid to rest at St. Mary's cemetery.

Richard Peter Allery, was born November 16 ^th 1950 to Frank and Ernstine Allery, he was the 7 ^th child of 10. Richard attended school in Dunseith, ND and later graduated from Haskell University. Richard enjoyed horses from birth up until his passing. Richard loved his kids and grandchildren with all his heart. He loved to tease with his siblings and listen to his old country favorites. Richard was drafted into the Army in 1970, also served in the Vietnam war, and was honorably discharged in 1972. On April 19 ^th of 1973 Richard married his wife Marilyn Allery in a joint ceremony with his sister Jeanette, and Dennis DeCoteau.

Richard is survived by his Wife Marilyn Allery of Minot, Son Michael (Patty) Allery of Dunseith, Daughter Dawn Allery of Minot, and Son Scott (Ashley) Allery of Minot. 12 Grandchildren and Great grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by both parents, his sister Jean Natwick, Brothers, Francis ( little sonny) Allery, Hubert Allery, Clifford Allery, and sister Darlene DeCoteau.

Arrangements were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.
