Rhona Hawkins, age 69 of Westhope died peacefully Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at her home in Westhope after many years of overcoming several health problems. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Trinity Lutheran church in Westhope at 2pm.  From 12:30-1:30 there will be a private visitation for only family and close friends.  From 1:30-2:00 everyone is welcome for viewing/visitation. Burial will be at the Westhope cemetery.

Rhona Doreen Hawkins, a daughter of Roger and Frances (Moon) Conway, was born on July 27, 1950 in Westhope. She grew up there and graduated from Westhope High School in 1968. On October 17, 1975 , she married Donald Hawkins at Wichita Falls, Texas. They lived in Chickasha, OK where they Operated a hotel, an implement dealership and a car dealership. In 1978, they moved to Westhope.  Through the years, she worked at Baumann's Grocery Store, the Gateway Motel and Westhope Flower.

She and Donald also operated BB Oilfield Service until she retired in 2006.

Rhona was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Westhope.  She was always full of life, love, and tenderness.  She always had a smile for everyone.  Through all of her recent years of pain and suffering due to her health her number one concern and worry was still always for everyone else.  She enjoyed baking and crocheting.  Music and dancing she loved, whether listening to, singing along, watching or putting on a few moves herself it was a happy place for her.  Her number one love and enjoyment was her family and especially her grandchildren.

Rhona died peacefully Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at her home in Westhope after many years of overcoming several health problems.

Rhona is survived by her husband, Donald of Westhope; daughter Hollie Helseth(John) of Westhope; sons, Bradley Conway(Maarja) of West Fargo and Brooks Hawkins(Bonnie) of Westhope; step-sons, Brett Hawkins, Gavin Hawkins; 11 grandchildren, Jerica(Daniel), Alexis, Faith(Kyle), Dawson, Hannah, Destiny, Gracie, Colton, Dalton, Dayton, and Dixon.  3 great-grandchildren, Mila, Maleigha and baby due in March; 5 step-grandchildren, Megan, Marisa, Christian, Cierra, Jerica Marie; brother Rodney Conway(Shirley) of Westhope; sisters-in-law Darleen Conway of Minot, Sheila Hart(David) of Oklahoma, Janet Shurtz of California; brothers-in-law, Mark Hawkins(Karen) of Texas, Gary Hawkins(Susan) of Texas, Dennis Hawkins(Nita) of Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, and cousins;

Preceded in death, parents Roger and Frances Conway; grandparents, Lillie and Bert Moon, Hugh and Marie Conway; mother and father-in-law Rose and Raymond Hawkins, brother, Vance Conway; step-daughter, Jana Hawkins; nephew, Robbie Conway
