Radonna Matheny, age 43 of Dunseith, died on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Duluth, MN.  Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Dunseith.

Radonna, a daughter of Raymond and Donna (DeCoteau) Houle, was born on June 10, 1977 at Belcourt.  She attended school in Dunseith.  She was married to Todd Belgarde and this marriage later ended.  She later married Mark Matheny and this marriage also ended.  She finally found the love of her life, Brian Puckett.

Radonna enjoyed playing basketball, playing with her cat and dog, riding bike and spending time with her friends.  She always tried to avoid house chores. She was a proud mother and grandmother.  She would always call and video chat with her grandkids and enjoyed spoiling them.  On the weekends, she and Brian would go to Brian's parent's house and help split wood, care for the garden and have a cookout.  She loved spending time with her family and always had a smile and she reassured you that she loved you.

She is survived by her parents; her boyfriend, Brian Puckett; children, Kyle Belgarde, Brooklyn Belgarde, Dylan Belgarde, Katelyn Matheny and Marcus Matheny; grandchildren, Zayden Davis, Bryson Belgarde, Julianna Belgarde, Davy Belgarde, Brayden Belgarde, Paisley Shaw and Ryleigh Lafferty; sisters, Ramona Houle and Raquel Johnson; brothers, Conrad Houle, Christopher Houle, Raymond Houle Jr and Raynold Houle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death children, Davey Belgarde and Angel Lee Matheny; stepson, Todd Belgarde Jr and sister Rhonda Duchscherer.

Arrangements were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.
