Obituary

Phyllis Ann (Demery) Delorme age 64 of Seattle, Washington died Wednesday August 14, 2024 in Bottineau North Dakota. Her funeral will be Friday August 23, 2024 at 10:00 am at St Michael's Archangel Catholic Church in Dunseith. The Wake will be at 6:00pm with the service at 7:00pm at St Michael's Archangel Catholic Church.

Phyllis met Donzold in GrandForks, ND in 1977. They were married on March 31, 1984 and shared 5 children together. Phyllis and Donzold move their family to Seattle Washington between 1988-1989. They raised their children together for 40 years until Donzold's passing in 2018. Phyllis was active member by serving her community with helping feed the homeless in the greater Seattle area. She received an award for her work fighting hunger by the Mayor of Seattle.

Phyllis was a loving grandmother to 9 grandchildren. She made the best frybread and chili. She loved to bake, she loved plants and flowers. She loved the outdoors, she loved her morning and evening walks. She was a huge Seattle Seahawks fan. She loved all different types of music from Country to Pop to Classic Rock. One of her and Donzold's favorite songs was from the band Wings "Let them in".

Phyllis is survived by her 5 children. Luciana M. Barbot of Bottineau, ND, Dale R. Delorme of Seattle, WA, Ashley D. Delorme of Seattle, WA, Clarence D. Delorme of Palmer, AK and Sean R. Delorme of Palmer, AK.
Brothers and Sisters, Basil B. Demery of Dunseith, ND, Dimathy M. Robertson of Whitehall, MT, Darcy D. Johnson of Level Plains, AL, Ferlin Q. Demery of Dunseith, ND and Jacqueline C. DeMarais of Grandforks, ND.

Aunts, MaryRose Counts, Ruth A. Hunt, and Theresa R. Counts of Dunseith, ND; nine grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is now reunited with her siblings Karen (Demery) Davis Formerly Gagnon, Brenda A. Lattergrass, Eli (Stoney) J. Demery.
