Nachae-Lynn Mims, age 25 of Dunseith, died Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Dunseith.  Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Eagle Heart Cultural Center in Dunseith.  Her wake will be on Monday starting at 4:00 pm at the Center.  Burial will be a the St. Sylvan's Cemetery north of Dunseith.

Nachae-Lynn Marie Moses-Mims, age 25, daughter of Tanya Azatassou (Poitra) and Tomico Mims, was born October 16, 1995 in Spokane, WA and passed away October 17, 2020 in Dunseith, ND.

Nachae-Lynn (NaeNae) had a very kind soul. She could light up any room with just her smile. She loved to travel, especially to see her family out of state. She enjoyed playing games and reading to her children. She liked to listen to all kinds of music and enjoyed the company of her friends and family. NaeNae was a CNA at the Dunseith Community Nursing Home and loved her residents dearly. She received her GED, CNA license, and an Associate of Arts degree at the Turtle Mountain Community College. She was currently pursuing a business degree at TMCC. She also enjoyed attending traditional events like sweats and sundances. She was united in marriage November 24, 2018 to Trevor Gunville in Spokane, WA.

Nachae-Lynn is survived by her parents, Tanya Azatassou and Tomico Mims/Greg Moses, children Elijah and Alyjana Gunville, grandparents Ruby (Tony) Morin, Grandma Linda and Papa Steve Johnson, and Grandma B Waymier, husband Trevor Gunville, siblings, Joshua Poitra, Allen Poitra, Matthew Lopez, Fernando Lopez, Tre'vien Mims, Tae'viel Thomason, Tearra Verheyen (Mims), and Maliyah Mims.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Alvin Houle, brother Christopher Forschen, daughter Alyziah Gunville, godfather Fabian Poitra and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Arrangements were with the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.
