Maxine Zorn, age 91 of Bottineau, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at a Rolla hospital.  Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Bottineau.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.

Maxine Zorn, a daughter of Lester and Linda (Kulseth) Becker, was born on September 4, 1929 at Upham.  She was raised at Upham.  On October 20, 1948, she married Lester Zorn in Gardena.  They lived in Minot and in 1973, they moved to Bottineau.  Lester passed away on August 26, 2013.

Maxine was a member of the Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Bottineau where she was active in the LWML.  She was known for welcoming new people into the church.  She also served on the Ladies Auxiliary at  St. Andrew's Hospital.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting and painting and wallpapering with Lester.

She is survived by her daughters, Faye Jolliff of Bottineau and Joan (Jerry) Wettlaufer of Bottineau; sons, Gary (Ann) Zorn of Bottineau and Scott (Viola) Zorn of Killeen, TX; son-in-law, Bill Burk of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren' sister, Jean Ann Marks of Minot; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Sandra Burk and Cheryl Peabody; brothers, Donald Becker and Gordon Becker and a sister, Carol Gessner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Turtle Mountain Cancer Support Group, Our Savior's Lutheran Church or an organization of the donors choosing.
