Marlene Ann Striker, age 88 of Dunseith, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at a Bottineau hospital.  A private family service will be held at a later date.

Marlene Ann Striker, a daughter of Arthur and Effie (House) Espe, was born on June 12, 1934 at Kelvin, ND.  She was raised in the Turtle Mountains north of Dunseith and attended country school.  On October 29, 1951, she was married to Douglas Striker in Dunseith.  They made their home a farm in the Turtle Mountains.  Douglas passed away in 1982.  Marlene remained on the farm and also worked at the International Peace Gardens.

Marlene was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Dunseith.

She is survived by her daughters, Deb Kubela and Donna Robinson; sons, Deane Striker and Dustin Striker; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and 2 brothers, Merlin and Monte Espe.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Striker and sister, Mavis Johnson.
