Mark A. Nadeau, age 62, of Belcourt, ND, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2026, at his home. His memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Eagle Heart Cultural Center in Dunseith.

Mark A. Nadeau was born on April 5, 1964, in Belcourt, ND, to Bruno Nadeau and Darlene Rose (Houle) Nadeau.

Mark was raised in Denver, Colorado, and completed his education as a Master Electrician.

He married Lori Lee (Gallegos) Nadeau in 1998. They were the parents of three children: Shantel Gallegos of New Mexico, and twins Mark Nadeau of Colorado and Matthew Nadeau of North Dakota.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Nadeau Jr.; his father, Bruno Nadeau Sr.; his mother, Darlene Rose; and his siblings Johnny, Nora, Andrew, Barbara, Joanna, Gerald, Donald, Aloysius, Deborah, and Josephine Nadeau.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Shantel Gallegos; his son, Matthew Nadeau; his brother, Ronald Parisien; his sister, Beverly Ann Nadeau (Jesus); his sister, Annie L. Morales; his brother, Bruno Nadeau Sr. (Linda); his brother, Patrick J. Nadeau; his brother, Rudy A. Nadeau (Berniece); five grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family members.

Mark enjoyed gardening, watching the Denver Broncos, fishing, traveling, working on cars, eating Mexican food, and listening to oldies.
