Marion Klingbeil of rural Bottineau went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 23, 2023.  Her funeral will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.

Marion Klingbeil, a daughter of Theodore and Clarice Vinje, was born on May 6, 1930 in Bottineau, ND. She attended Bottineau Public School and upon graduation attended the ND School of Forestry in Bottineau. She was employed at Lien's Jewelry where she became well acquainted with glassware and began her love of collecting. On October 2, 1950 she married Howard Klingbeil at Bethel Lutheran Parsonage in Antler, ND. They lived in Bottineau for a time and then moved to a farm west of Bottineau in 1962 where they raised eight boys.

Marion was well known for her candy making and baking and sharing it with others. She hardly ever left the farm without a tray full of goodies to share with others. She enjoyed collecting antiques, dolls, glassware and a wide variety of items. She also decorated wedding cakes and enjoyed decorating for Holidays. Marion will be remembered by her grandchildren for always baking their favorites.

She is survived by her Children Daniel (Andrea) Minot, David, Bottineau, Mark (Jacky) Bottineau, John, Minot, Paul (Cindy) Minot, Peter (Leah), Mesa, AZ James (Deanna), Bottineau, and Michael (Stacie) Omaha, NE; 23 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, Sister, Joyce, Parents Theodore and Clarice Vinje.
