Lucille Gust, age 86 of Kramer, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at a Minot hospital. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Zion Lutheran Church in Kramer. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.
Lucille was born February 12,1933 to Ernest and Mamie (Tweten) Follansbee in Rolette, ND. She graduated from Rolette High School and married Wayne Walsh Nov. 1951. They made their home near Mylo where they farmed and ranched until Wayne's death in May of l994. She married Richard Gust in 2006 and moved to his ranch where she immersed herself in the Kramer community and made many new friends. She was active in church activities including quilting, LWML, Bible study, Braille and other volunteer activities up till the time of her death.
Lucille is survived by her husband Richard, sister Peggy & brother-in-law Harley Stahlecker, Crookston MN, children Shelley (Jim) Porter, Wilton; Jeff (Lynn) Walsh, Wolford; Penny (Doyle) Casavant, Sauk Rapids, MN; grandchildren Nathan and Anthony Walsh, Whitney and Hannah Walsh, Kali Scigliano, Megan Martin and Joel Porter, and Kayla Kemp; and great grandchildren Taylor, Brayden, Karlee and Cayden Walsh, Rhett Martin and Thea Scigliano. Sharing in her extended family was Richard's children: Paul Gust, Carl (Tracy) Gust, Ruth (Rich) Droogsma, Gloria (Michael) Thorson, Kathy (Jeff) Sotak; and grandchildren Mariah (Joe) Packer, Savannah Gust, Lauren Gust, Andrea Cartwright and Charles and Bennett Sotak and great-grandchildren, CJ and Zara
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Guy Rueben, Jake Follansbee, half-brother Lamoine Tweten, sister Mamie Follansbee and son Michael Walsh.
Arrangement were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Friends may sign the online register book at www.nerofuneralhome.net.
