Linda Cooper, age 76, went to be with the Lord at Luther Manor in Sioux Falls, SD on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.

Linda Lou Orth was born to Orlan and Esther (Johnson) Orth in Rolette, ND on March 14, 1945.  She was raised in Rugby where she attended Rugby High School.  She married Roger Cooper on July 30th, 1961. They made their home in Westhope, ND where they raised their 3 children.  She and Roger owned and operated the Red Rooster drive-in for many years. She also worked at Baumann's Jack and Jill in Westhope for a time.  Linda later moved to Minot, ND where she was a salesperson for Minot Chrysler and she earned several Salesperson of the Year awards. Linda spent a few years in Fargo before moving to Sioux Falls, SD.

Linda was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Westhope.  She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren at all sporting events.  Linda was always ready with a pot of coffee and a listening ear.

So grateful for having shared her life are her daughter, Tammy Cooper-Mosser (Ken), Sioux Falls, SD; sons: Jeffrey Cooper (Tanya), Westhope, ND and Kelly Cooper, Fargo, ND; and Sheri Cooper, Pelican Rapids, MN; sisters: Eunice Peters (Richard), Chanhassen, MN and Marge Orth, Minot, ND; sister-in-law, Cheryl Orth, Plymouth, MN; aunt Delores Johnson, Rugby, ND; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jerald and Larry Orth.

There will a graveside memorial service July 30th at 2:00 pm at the Westhope Cemetery with a celebration of life gathering to follow at the Westhope Country Club.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
