Lex Kent Schrader, son of Melissa Schrader and Jason Schrader, was boron on July 11, 2023 in Minot.  Lex was the newest addition to his brothers, Wayde Logan and Brock Parker Schrader.

Despite his short time on Earth, Lex touched every person that was lucky enough to have met him.  His calm demeanor and infectious smile warmed the hearts and minds of all that he embraced.  He was a ray of sunshine that could penetrate the most cloudy of days.

Lex found comfort in being held by his parents.  He would more often then not smile and giggle in their embrace, trying to communicate in his own precious way.  He loved his two brothers and would smile and laugh when they would "squish" his face.  Lex found comfort and joy when he would take his baths and when getting his diaper changed.  The most perfect of babies in every way.

Lex unexpectedly passed away on October 3, 2023.  Sadly, and with tragedy, this little angle burned to brightly for this world.  He awaits the rest of his family in heaven, watching over us for the rest of our days, waiting for the time when once again, to be together forever.  We miss you child with all our heart and soul.  Until we meet again…

A memorial service followed by a reception will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Bottineau.  All are welcome to attend.
