Leland Landsverk, age 64 of Bottineau, died Tuesday at a Bottineau nursing home.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 12 ^th at 10:00 am at the First Lutheran Church in Bottineau.

Leland Landsverk, a son of Nels and Gertie (Rispa) was born on May 2, 1954 at Bottineau.  He grew up in Dunseith.  He worked for Cardinal Drilling and Hutton Contracting.  He later worked for Larry Orke as farmhand.  On November 18, 1983, he married Janell Rispa at the First Lutheran Church in Bottineau.  Janell passed away on January 4, 2015.

Leland enjoyed playing cards, board games, bingo and gardening.

He is survived by his daughter, Geri and her husband Nolan Ovitt of Bottineau; grand children, Katielynn and Austin; sisters, Sharon Beckman and Barb (Larry) Lawrence of Bottineau; brother, David Landsverk of Bottineau; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn and brothers, Elwood, Bruce, Virgil, Arlen, Darrel, Roger and Kenny.

Arrangements were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.
