Krisandra Elsie (Gillis) Hunt

August 20, 2000 - January 1, 2021

Krisandra Elsie (Gillis) Hunt was born to Sherry Hunt and Christopher Gillis on August 20, 2000 in Grand Forks, ND. She was raised from a beautiful little girl to an amazing young woman by her mother Sherry and father Jeremy Rel.

As a young girl, Krisandra loved being around animals, especially her fur babies. She loved being outside, spending time at the lakes, swimming, sun tanning, and fishing. She always loved spending time with family and her many friends.

In the 5th grade she placed 1st at the National Science Fair in Albuquerque, NM. In the summer months of high school, she attended Upward Bound at UND in Grand Forks. She enjoyed basketball and cheerleading. She started cheering in the 9th grade and by 10th grade she was the captain of the cheer team. She graduated at the age of 17 with honors from Dunseith High School.

Krisan was a hard working young lady, as she worked at Dales Café as a waitress from the age of 16 until her passing. Her work family was loving, caring, and very much a big part of her life and her heart. She also loved spoiling and spending time with her little brothers. She was always with her Mom and little sister Hailee, and they all worked together at Dales Café.

She had a smile that could light up any room and though a sweetheart; she was never afraid to say what was on her mind. She could walk into a room full of strangers and by the time she left she'd have captured all of their hearts. She loved makeup and her big sassy lashes.

Krisan is survived by her parents Sherry Hunt (Jeremy Rel) and Christopher Gillis; 3 fur babies Mini, Piper, and Achillies; her sister Hailee and brothers Tyler, Tristin, and Jeremiah; her grandparents Ruth Hunt, Steven (Paula) Hunt, Linda Tohm; aunts and uncles Sheila (Christopher) Longie, Tyrone, and Godparents Robert and Lynelle Hunt; and special friend Colby Nadeau. She is preceded in death by her  grandmother Sandra Gillis; uncles Randy and Michael Hunt; cousin Tanesha Dauphinais.

Visitation will begin at 7 AM with the service beginning at 10:00 AM. All individuals attending must wear a mask.
