Kevin Beston, age 57 of Dunseith, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at a Belcourt hospital.  Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:30 am at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Dunseith.   His wake will be on Thursday starting at 4:00 pm at the church.  Burial will be at St. Sylvan's Cemetery north of Dunseith.

Kevin Mark Beston (Long Jack) age 57 of Dunseith ND was born on August 8, 1968 in Belcourt ND to MaryJane St. Claire and Johnny Belgarde and adoptive parents Robert and Irene Beston. Kevin attend school at the Dunseith Indian Day school. Kevin had 4 Children with Hillary Poitra  (Shaylee, Shaylen, Gracie, Brycen). Kevin enjoy spending time with family playing cards and dice as well as riding his bike around back and forth too town. Kevin especially loved spending time with all his family and friends.

Kevin is survived by his partner Amy, Children Shaylee, Shaylen, Gracie, Brycen, and his Siblings Janice Beston, Cathy Thiefoe, Robert Demontigny, Edie Atkins, Terry(Clara) Beston, Richard (Rachel) Beston, Marla Fox, Maurice Faine, Duane"Potsy" (Loretta) Belgarde, Geraldine(Gordon)Munoz, Natalie Grant, Betty(Jeff) Charbonneau, Karen(Terry) Davis, Sandra Belgarde, Gail(Tom) Krause and many other family and friends.

Kevin was proceeded in death by his parents Mary Jane St. Claire and Johnny Belgarde and Robert and Irene Beston. Sisters Roxanne Thiefoe, Connie Demery, Phylis Lavallie, Tanya Rae, Sharon Henry and Tammy Davis Brothers Francis (Sugar) Belgarde, Gary Boy Thiefoe, Wayne Beston, Dale Beston, Irvin Beston, Robert Beston JR and Moen Beston and many other family members.

Kevin will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by all who knew him.
