Keisha Love Demery, age 27 of Dunseith, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026 near Belcourt. Her funeral will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026 at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Dunseith. Her wake will be on Sunday, August 16, 2026 starting at 4:00 pm at the church.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Keisha Love Demery, who was only 27 years of age when God opened hisarms to welcome her home.

Keisha was born in Minot, North Dakota on August 9 , 1999 to Perry and Lahomma Demery. She grew up and attended school  in Dunseith, North Dakota. In later years, she’s lived in various towns in ND from Bismarck to Fargo. More recently, she came back to her roots in Dunseith to be closer to family and the friends she grew to love. She departed this world on August 9 , 2026 in Belcourt, North Dakota.

From birth, Keisha had a gift of lifting the spirits of all around her. She was known for living her life to the fullest, wild and free, just like any county girl would. Keisha was tough; anything life threw her way, she got back up and continued to persevere.

She is survived by her daughter Lehlani, parents Perry and Lahomma, brothers Jesse, Perry Jr. and Darren(SIL Kayla), sister Rachael, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and many, many cousins and friends.
