Kayleen
Parisien
Sep 2, 1958 — Dec 7, 2020
Kayleen Mary Parisien (62), began her journey to the spirit world on the morning of December 7 th , 2020.
Kayleen was born on September 2 nd , 1958 in Minot, ND to Rose (Decoteau) and August Parisien. She spent her whole life caring and giving everything she could to those around her. She found the best way to share her gifts with the world was through teaching. She was a teacher at the Turtle Mountain Head Start for 34 years. In her role, she impacted so many young lives, educating generations of families throughout her years. She spoke about how much love she had for all the kids that came into her class and the joy of being able to watch them grow. The most rewarding experiences were when old students came back and shared their favorite memories and what they have done since seeing Teacher Kayleen last.
Teaching was more than a job, it was ingrained in her soul. She made the whole world her classroom - finding every opportunity to share knowledge, experiences and teachings with others. She had such a grace about her, that it didn't feel like learning at times. Everyone she met felt her unconditional love, understanding and grace. Always looking after others before herself, she gave all she could to anyone that crossed her path. Even if she had nothing left to give, no matter what, she could always provide her time and love.
In her free time, Kayleen enjoyed picnics, watching the grandkids play and spending time with her family and friends. Her children and grandkids were her whole world. She was always their #1 supporter, and let them know that no matter what, she would be there for them and love them. She loved so many things, but a few of her top favorites were trying different foods, solving puzzles, reading, going to the casino and playing pool. Her heart was so big, her spirit so strong, it will live on through those around her. To her: Thank you for everything you have shown us all.
Kayleen is survived by her two children, Christy Parisien and Brady (Felicia) Parisien, Grandchildren: Payton Counts, Kilyn Parisien, Kaden Lavallie, Paris Lavallie, Skye Davis, Emily Davis, Tayler Nadeau, Khai Aldrich, Braydon Parisien, Brennon Parisien, Braylin Parisien, Niah Davis, Cattleya Davis, Siblings: Beverly (Joe) May, Genise Parisien, Madonna Parisien, Theresa(Frank Johnson) Parisien, Dennis (Cathy) Parisien, and Richard Parisien.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Peter and Zelda Decoteau and Joe (Curly) Parisien and Virginia Enno, her parents August and Rose (Decoteau) Parisien, Her siblings: Albert Parisien, Garry Parisien, Kenny Parisien, and June Parisien, and nieces and nephews.
