Kalpesh P. Patel, (48), of Bottineau, North Dakota, passed away on March 28, 2023 after fighting a hard fight for 10 years against Stage IV Cancer of the Jaw.

Kalpesh, known by many friends and family as Kal, was born to Pramodrai and Bhagwati Patel on July 17 ^th , 1974 in Navsari, India. He was a phenomenal husband to Alpa Patel (45) and father to two girls – Anjali and Aanya Kumar (23 and 16). He spent his summers golfing with friends (often kicking their butts) and his falls watching football, placing sports bets. Kalpesh was a natural born entrepreneur – owning and operating many businesses including hotels, bars, bottle shops, etc. Kal was also a large donator and sponsor to the Bottineau Country Club and many Bottineau Public School organizations.

Kalpesh is survived by his mother, wife, daughters, and brother, Sam Kumar, with sister-in-law and nephew Shweta and Aryan. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Berkely. He is preceded in death by his father, Pramodrai, and nephew Ayush Kumar.

Kalpesh's funeral will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Church at 10 AM on Monday, April 3 ^rd . All are welcome to attend and pay your respects.
