Juliene Olive Ann Wall was brought into this world on August 31, 1943 in Bottineau, ND. She was one of six girls (Deloris, Janet, Marilyn, Juliene, Judy, and Bonnie) born to Sophie and Joe Wall. She attended Eidsvold #4 one room school in rural Bottineau County. Juliene attended Inherred Lutheran church while growing up. She married Kenneth Sivertson on September 14th 1958 and were married for almost 67 years. They first lived with Juliene's mom Sophie for the first few months of their marriage until Ken took a job in Rolla, ND working for Great Plains. While Juliene worked at the local Dairy Queen in Rolla. Their daughter Joanie, and sons Todd and Chad were all born in Rolla. Boyd came along later and was born in Bottineau.  Ken and Juliene moved to Arkansas in 1969 where Kenneth worked as a carpenter briefly before returning to Bottineau. While living in the Turtle Mtns. Juliene took a job as a bookkeeper at International Harvester in Bottineau. She also worked as a bookkeeper for Willow City Farm Supply and the Hillbilly Board Store. Later in life she attended the local college in Bottineau and earned a degree in floral design. She put her talents to work arranging flowers for Bottineau Floral. Juliene's other passions were crafting and quilting. She loved to work on intricate quilts for her family. Juliene also volunteered at Grace Lutheran Church. She was in charge of the kitchen and provided lunches after funerals.

Juliene was proceeded in death by both her parents and her oldest sister Deloris. Juliene's family is spread out. While Ken and Juliene spent most of their years living in the Turtle Mountains her kids are spread out. Joanie and John Butcher live in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. Todd and Polly divide their time between Minot, ND; Lake Metigoshe, ND; and Mesa, AZ. Chad and Connie live in Fishers, Indiana, and Boyd and Terri reside in Minot, ND. Kenneth and Juliene have seven grandchildren (Zachary, Matthew, Alyssa, Kaitlyn, Sydney, Alex, and Lily) and six great grandchildren (Harper, Hazel, Addison, Emily, Leah, Everleigh).

Juliene will probably be best remembered for her large floral garden, deep faith in Jesus Christ, and Christmas decorations. She would start putting up Christmas decorations in October in hopes to be done by Christmas. She always picked out a tall spruce tree to decorate in the foyer. She was the Griswold's, before there were Griswold's. I am pretty sure her decorations could be seen from space. Rudolph and NASA both thanked her, just kidding!
