Judith Gagnier, age 71 of Minot, died Thursday, September 17, 2020 at her home in Minot with all her family by her side.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Oak Creek Cemetery in Bottineau.  Lunch will be served at the Bottineau County Veterans Hall following the service.

Judith Gagnier was born to James and Mildred Wheeler in Oakes, ND on December 4, 1948.  She graduated from Dunseith High School on 1967.  Later that year, she married Virgil Evenson.  They raised two children. Clair James Evenson and Jared Blake Evenson.  She later married Glenn Gagnier and lived in Minot.  She graduated from Minot State University with degrees in Medical and Legal Secretary.  Judy was employed at Uni-Band, Devine Abstract and the Minot Police Department until she retired due to her health.

Judy was a member of the United Parish in Bottineau.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Clair (Lisa) Evenson and Jared (Jenn) Evenson both of Minot; grandchildren, Courtney (Max) Arbacauskas, Codi Evenson, Seth Evenson, Sam Evenson, Sophie Evenson; great-grandchildren, Blake, Briggs and Emmie and 2 more on the way; brother, Rick (Vicki) Wheeler of Ronan. MT; sister, Sharon (Jerry) Sabbe of Surrey and sister-in-law Holly Wheeler of Casper. WY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and one brother, James Jr.
