JoAnne Gordon, age 84 of Willow City, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025 at a Bottineau hospital.  Her memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 10:00 am at the First Lutheran Church in Willow City.

JoAnne Marguerite (Tweten) Gordon was born to Oscar and Helen (Hanson) Tweten on March 11, 1941 in Rugby. She was raised in Willow City, graduating in 1959 from Willow City High School.  She married Robert Samuel Gordon on Sept. 3, 1961. They lived in Fargo for five years and Bowie, Maryland for thirty years.  While in Bowie, JoAnne worked as a dental chair side assistant.  After retiring in 1995, they moved back to Willow City and built a new home on the Gordon farm.

She enjoyed gardening, quilting, reading, and watching sports.

She is survived by her husband Robert Gordon of Willow City; son, Bruce William Gordon and his wife Lisa; grandchildren, Robert John Gordon and Alyssa (Tyler) Rapp; 4 great-grandchildren, Adison Gordon, Brodie Gordon, Hayden Rapp and Declynn Rapp, niece Julie (Mike) Bickel and their children, Jeremy, Spencer, and Madison; niece, Alysa Tweten Hoeppner and her daughter Danielle; nephew, Jeff (Angel) Tweten and their children Emily and Tyler as well many friends and relatives.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, John and James Tweten.
