Jeremy Jon Ketterling, age 46 of Bottineau, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at his home in Bottineau.  His memorial service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.  A meal will follow the service and ends at 5:00 pm at Cobblestone Inn in Bottineau.

Jeremy Ketterling, a son of Lester and Eunice (Foss) Ketterling, was born on December 30, 1976 in Bottineau. He was raised in Westhope and in 1991 moved with his family to Bottineau.  He graduated from Bottineau High School in 1995.  He attended Dakota College at Bottineau and Minot State University.  Following the completion of his formal education, he returned to Bottineau and worked in the oil fields.  In 2003, he purchased Ketterling Junkyard and Towing.  He also owned and operated J&N Weed Harvesting.  On August 23, 2013, he married Andrea Hopper at Lake Tahoe and they made their home in Bottineau.

Jeremy was a member of the Metigoshe Lutheran Church.  Jeremy served on the Bottineau City Council and the Thunder Mountain Speedway Board.  He was also inducted into the Thunder Mountain Speedway Hall of Fame.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea Ketterling of Bottineau; children, Victoria Cunningham and Cameron Ketterling of Bottineau and his mother, Eunice Ketterling of Mesa, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Ketterling.
