Jeffrey
Moe
d. Apr 12, 2024
Jeffrey Todd Moe, age 64, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Friday, April 12, 2024.
Jeff grew up in Bottineau, ND. He graduated from high school in 1978 and went on an the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND where he completed his bachelor's degree in psychology in 1982. Jeff married Cindy Nelson in 1985. They raised their children in both Felton and Dilworth, Minnesota. He later went on to further his education with a Master's degree in business administration at The University of Mary in Fargo, ND. Jeff worked as a family therapist in agencies in the Fargo-Moorhead area for several years and held various positions in the Minneapolis area. He was proud of his educational achievements, but only worked to live, never lived to work.
In his free time Jeff enjoyed reading, golf, tennis, and had even recently taken a Krav Maga course through community education. He was also looking forward to joining a pickleball league and making new friends. He loved to cook or creatively express himself through painting or a fun wood project, but what Jeff cherished the most were precious moments with his family. Chatting, taking a scenic walk, or playing a card game, he was most content to be in the presence of his loved ones.
Jeff would say his greatest accomplishment were his children, his son, Tanner and his daughter, Tobey. He held so much pride for them both. When life got hard, they often served as a beacon of hope for the future. Throughout the ups and downs, Jeff remained kind-hearted, patient, and one of the funniest people you could ever have the pleasure to know. He was goofy and animated and he had a special ability to put a smile on your face, even if you were having a bad day.
A father, brother, and friend, the unexpected passing of Jeff has left a hole in the hearts of many who wanted more time. Jeff is survived by his son Tanner (Kelsey), daughter Tobey, grandchildren Olivia, Henrik, Beckham and Linnea, brother Lonnie (Jeanne), sister Cindy, and former wife Cindy.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Mavis Sutter, father Lloyd, and brother Kent. Memorial services will be held at Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau, ND on June 29th at 10 am with a reception to follow at the Senior Service Center. He will then be laid to rest in Oak Creek Cemetery with his parents, whom he missed dearly. Please join us in celebrating the beautiful person he will always be remembered as.
