Jaylynn Rose Belgarde was born on March 9th, 2013 to the proud parents of Danielle Baker and Matthew Belgarde and big brother, Hunter Ray Belgarde (all of Dunseith). She attended school at the Dunseith Public where she was in the 2nd grade. She enjoyed being at school and participating in everything and anything she could! When she wasn't in school, she was always hanging out with her cousin Bayleigh, making TikToks or playing at the park with friends and family (where you would find her also making TikToks) She enjoyed dancing and singing. She loved animals. Some of her favorite food and drinks she loved are Hotwings, Takis, Sunkist, Pepsi (Bepsi) and most of all, her mother's famous Baked Spaghetti. She loved to bake. She loved her girls night with her mom. She would say, "Mom let's have girls night. Movie night!" and Danielle never hesitated to say no because she loved girls night with Jaylynn as well. She loved to smile! You'd never see her without a smile unless of course, it was her and her brother fighting over something. But that's any sister/brother relationship. They are indeed the dynamic duo.. Hunter is, was and will always be protective over his little sister no matter what mishap they've come across (like Hunter not charging her phone if he used it, for instance). But by far, her love was big for making TikToks, in all to which her life dream was to become "TikTok Famous"! Hunter would always say to her, "Quit trying to act cute, Jaylynn!" when she would make TikTok videos. Jaylynn had a lot of things and a lot of people she loved but what she really loved to do was, love. For as young as she is, she understood what it meant to care for. She was tiny, but she was mighty with the biggest heart and a smile to match. She would give you the shirt off of her back and expect nothing in return. She had a great teacher throughout her life, her mother, Danielle. With the same heart and the same smile that Jaylynn brought us. The same warmth and the same love that we confide within Jaylynn. The bond between Danielle and Jaylynn can be easily dictated as inseparable. Jaylynn's love for her mother and father was as big as her heart! She absolutely loved them with all that she had. Just like all of her family she loved to be around. She was the rock of the family. Never leaving anyone left out, she always thought about someone. Just like everyone loves her and will be thinking of her. She will be greatly missed by many. Just remember.. when the sun shines, we'll shine together.

Jaylynn is survived by her parents and brother, her papa William "Bill" (Michelle) Poitra Sr. of Belcourt, grandparents David Belgarde (Peggy) of Dunseith and Connie Fischer of Belcourt, uncles William "Bill" (Blair) Poitra Jr., Dakota Baker and Austin Baker all of Dunseith, aunts Taylor (Tyson) Baker of Dunseith, aunts Amber Baker, Stevie Lawrence and Tracy (Trevor) St.John of Belcourt, uncles David (Mary) Belgarde Jr. of Dunseith and Tyler Belgarde of Dunseith, aunts Brittany (Wilmer Sr.) Dubois of Dunseith, Joni (Tyrone) Belgarde of Dunseith and Brenda Burcham of Stanton.
