Janice Newman, age 79 of Bottineau, went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2018.  A private family service was held.  Burial was at the Nordland Cemetery near Bottineau.

Janice Gloria (Pearson) Newman was born on April 19, 1938 to Clarence and Ethel Pearson at Park Rapids, MN.  She lived most of her life in the Park Rapids/Nevis, MN area.  She was married to Stanley Carl Newman on July 16, 1957.  Seven children were born to this union.  Stanley passed away on December 10, 2017.

She is survived by; 3 sons, LeRoy (Nancy) of MN, Rick of MN and Jack (Tuana) of NY; daughters, Pauline (Tom) Culbertson of KS and Sandra Newman of MN; 2 sisters, Marge Pearson of MN and Ruth Seidell of MN and many grand children, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Billy; daughter, Sharon; brothers, Ray, Don and Leonard; sisters, Lucille, Alice, Elaine and Jean.
