Jamie Davis, age 38 of Dunseith,  passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at her home in Dunseith.  Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Eagle Heart Cultural Center in Dunseith.  Wake will be held on Monday at 4:00 pm at the Eagle Heart Cultural Center in Dunseith.  Burial will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery north of Dunseith.

Jamie Davis, the daughter of Gino Davis and Cheryl Davis Belgarde, was born on April 29, 1983 in Belcourt.  She was in Dunseith and graduated from Dunseith High School in 2001 as valedictorian.  She then attended college in Belcourt and Bottineau.  She moved to Minot and worked on a demolition crew after the flood.  She returned to Dunseith and worked at Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue.

Jamie, enjoyed taking scenic drives, hiking, fishing music and singing.  She loved spending time with children and animals especially her dogs Diogee and T'amo.

She is survived by her father, Gino Davis; mother, Cheryl Davis; sister, Joey Davis; brother, Joseph Davis; grandmothers, Cecelia Belgarde and Louise Davis; nephews, Gavin LaRocque, Daloan Davis, Kadin Davis and Colten Davis; niece, Tyria Davis and numerous aunts uncles and cousins.
