Jack Oatman, age 83 of Grand Forks, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at a Dunseith, North Dakota nursing home.

Jack Oatman, a son of Otto and Mary (Campbell) Oatman, was born on August 18, 1940 in Glendale, CA.  He was raised in California.  In, 1958, Jack joined the United States Airforce.  Jack met Pat Casselman while they were both serving in Germany.  Jack with the US Air Force and Pat with the Canadian Air Force.  They were married on July 11, 1969 in Germany.  They returned to Beale Air Force Base in 1973 and in 1976, they moved to Grand Forks.  After 20 years of service, Jack retired from the Air Force in 1979.

Jack loved the Green Bay Packers.  He enjoyed trains, collecting donkey and Air Force memorabilia and golfing.

Jack is survived by Wife: Patricia Ann Oatman; Daughter, Jackie Green and her husband, Orris and their daughter, Brieanna; Son, Jason Oatman and his wife, Jenni and their children, Jeyden and Jerret; Sister, Beverly and her husband Jan and their children, Donny and Cindy; Sister, Judy and her husband Roy and their children, Craig, Chris and Jill and Brother, Tom and his wife Nancy and their son, Brian.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto Clayton Oatman and Mary Lucille Campbell and step-father Haskell Koontz
