Obituary

Gary Raymo, age 81 of Bottineau, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at a Bottineau hospital.  His Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 am at the St. Mark's Catholic Church in Bottineau.  There will be a prayer service on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 7:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.

Gary Raymo, a son of Leonard and Marie (Olson) Raymo, was born on July 9, 1944, in Bremerton, WA.  He was raised on a farm near Carbury.  He attended elementary school in Carbury and later graduated from Bottineau High School.  He then attended NDSU and later graduated from Minot Business College.  On June 26, 1965, he married Lois Barbot at the St. Mark's Catholic Church in Bottineau.  Gary farmed and partnered with Cliff Keller and later Bruce Keller and Jerry Lervik as a CPA at Keller and Lervik.  He formed generational relationships with clients in Bottineau, Dunseith and Rolette.  In 2000, they moved to Lake Metigoshe where they have resided since.

Gary was an active member of the Bottineau Jaycees.  He raised money for St. Andrew's Hospital, the Bottineau Community Arena and the Bottineau Good Samaritan Center.  He was an avid hockey fan.

He is survived by his wife Lois of Bottineau; daughter, Angela and her husband Chuck Neubauer of Bottineau; son, Jeffrey Raymo of Bottineau; grandchildren, Taylor and Bailey Neubauer and Reise Raymo; sister, Kathy Kuhlman of Franklin, NC; Gary had a blessed relationship with the Barbot Family and his many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Marie Raymo.

Arrangements were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.  Friends may sign the online register book at www.nerofuneralhome.net.
