Frederick Lesmann, age 76 of Bottineau, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at his home in Bottineau. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
Fredrick Lesmann, a son of Arthur and Flora (Campbell) Lesmann, was born on October 24, 1948. He grew up near Maxbass where he attended school. On June 13, 1968, he entered the US Army. He served in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart with an Oak Cluster. He received his honorable discharge on June 12, 1970. He returned to North Dakota and he in the oil field for Hess. He later worked for the Soo line Railroad and the Bottineau Bee Company. He moved to Bottineau in 1998 and worked at Pamida and then TMC in Dunseith. He retired in 2010 and remained in Bottineau.
He is survived by his sisters, Helen Ingalls of Plaistow, NH, brothers, Albert Lesmann, Westhope, Donald Lesmann of Westhope, John Lesmann, of Souris, James Lesmann and his wife Arlene of Maxbass and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur J. Lesmann and sisters, Anna Taylor, Margaret Bean, Marlene Ferry and twin sister, Frances Boice.
Arrangements were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Friends may sign the online register book at www.nerofuneralhome.net.
