Frances Boice, age 69 of Bottineau, died Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at a Bottineau nursing home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Frances Boice, daughter of Arthur and Flora Catherine (Campbell) Lesmann, was born on October 24, 1948. She was a full time hairdresser working at various nursing homes throughout her career. Following her retirement, she moved to Bottineau and entered the Good Samaritan Center. Born and raised in Maxbass, ND. She attended the Maxbass Elementary and Maxbass Public High School.
She enjoyed attending antique truck shows with her husband and in doing so; they won many plaques and ribbons on their two beautiful antique trucks that they entered. She enjoyed cooking and baking, walking, horseback riding, reading, writing letters, staying in touch with her loved ones, playing bingo, doing crossword and word search puzzles. She also enjoyed traveling, going to the mountains and various beaches on the Eastern coast.
Frances was a very caring, loving, and kind person and she loved the Lord with all her heart.
She is survived by her son, Richard Boice of Ravena, NY; daughter, Amber Lee of Ravena, NY; sisters, Marlene Ferry and her husband, Leonard Ferry, Hardy, IA and Helen Ingalls and her husband, Larrie Ingalls of Plaistow, NH, brothers, Albert Lesmann, Westhope, Donald Lesmann and his wife, Teri Cossette Brezden of Westhope, John Lesmann, of Souris, James Lesmann and his wife Arlene of Maxbass; twin brother Frederick Lesmann of Bottineau, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arhtur J. Lesmann and sisters, Anna Taylor and Margaret Bean.
