Florence Pedie, age 83 of Bottineau, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at a Bottineau hospital.  Her funeral will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.  Visitation will be on Thursday starting at 11:00 am until service time.  Burial will be at the Turtle Mountain Cemetery near Carbury.

Florence Pedie, a daughter of Selmer and Olga (Iverson) Sivertson, was born on March 3, 1940 at Carbury, ND.  She was raised in the Turtle Mountains and attended country school.  On December 19, 1956, she married John W. Pedie.  Lived in New town before moving to Westhope in 1957.  They then moved to Bottineau.  Florence worked as a housekeeper at the Loveland Lodge and St. Andrew's Hospital.  She also was a caregiver.  John passed away on July 11, 1994.

Florence is survived by her children.; Dorothy Pedie of Minot, John (Lori) Pedie of Souris, Sharon Nelson of Minot, Mark (Brandi) of Bottineau, Jeff (Sandy) Pedie of Bottineau and Mitch Pedie of Bottineau; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenny Sivertson of Bottineau; sisters,  Shirley Kofoid of Bottineau and Gladys Stevens of Valley City and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son-in-law, Kerry Nelson; brothers, Bud Sivertson, Sanford Sivertson, Lloyd Sivertson, Glenn Sivertson, Norman Sivertson and Lyle Sivertson and sister, Evie Sivertson.
