Flora Marie Picotte age 63 of Dunseith, ND; passed away surrounded by her family on June 22, 2021 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND.

Flora also known as Marie was born in Belcourt, ND on August 12, 1957 to Louis and Ilene Beston. As a young child she attended Dunseith Day School and Wahpeton Boarding School. She later went on to receive her GED. Marie lived most of her life in Dunseith except for a few short years when she moved to Bismarck. While living in Bismarck she had a job working with disabled children. She later moved back to Dunseith and became a child care provider.

Marie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the casino, playing candy crush, watching her favorite TV shows: Law & Order and Walker Texas Ranger, and checking out the latest news on Facebook. She could usually be found at fundraiser bingos for people in need of help, or at card games with her aunts. She had her can of coke and Nut Roll candy bar.

Marie and her younger brother Virgil shared a special bond. They usually had their daily competition game of Yahtzee. Wherever she went and whatever she did, Virgil was not far behind. He tagged along no matter what. So naturally, Virgil had a special relationship with all Marie's children.

Marie had such a big heart. She opened her home to many people, whether it be one night or a few nights they always had a place to go. Relatives coming home for a visit always knew they could stay at her house, the was always open.

Marie is survived by her children, Cindy Cree, Jennifer DuBois, Rhonda DuBois, Amy DuBois and Gerald Picotte all of Dunseith, 18 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Sherry Beston and Bonnie Norquay, Brothers: Lyle Beston, Jason Norquay of Dunseith and Duane (Joan) Beston of White Rocks, Utah; Aunts: Susan Beston, Rosie Norquay of Dunseith, many nieces and nephews; her godchildren Babylove Delorme and Maggie DuBois; and special friends, Esther Decoteau and Marla (Ruth) Fox, and her long time companion Dean Thompson

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Arnold Beston, Gail Smoke and Virgil Beston, her beloved son Perry Caske Picotte, special nephew Frank Belgrade, and niece Alicia Beston.

The family of Marie would like to say thank you for all your support and prayers during this difficult time.
