Geraldine Fay Laugsand, age 81 of Bottineau, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at a Bottineau hospital.  Her funeral will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.  Visitation will also be Thursday from 10:00 am until service time.

Geraldine Fay Laugsand, a daughter of Gilbert and Mavis (Lee) Halverson, was born on December 18, 1940 at Walhalla, ND.  She was raised in Walhalla and on April 1, 1961, she married Marvin Laugsand at the Nordland Lutheran Church north of Bottineau.  They made their home on the Laugsand family farm northeast of Bottineau.  Fay worked along side Marvin on the farm and taking care of the cattle.

Fay loved all animals.  She also enjoyed polka music, flowers and gardening.

Fay is survived by her husband Marvin of Bottineau; brother, Roger Halverson of Lincoln, ND and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Fay was preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Halverson.
