Estelle Jelleberg, age 93 of Bottineau, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at her home in Bottineau.  Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 10:00 am at the First Lutheran Church in Bottineau.  Burial will be at the Oak Creek Cemetery in Bottineau.

Estelle O. Jelleberg, a daughter of Martin and Hilma (Kjoven) Dahl, was born on June 11, 1928 at Tunbridge, ND.  She attended rural schools in Benson County and Bottineau County before graduated from Bottineau High School.  She then attended Dakota College at Bottineau and Minot State University where she earned her degree in Elementary Education.  She married Omar Jelleberg.  Estelle taught rural school in amity Township and later at the Central School in Bottineau.  Omar passed away on  September 17, 2005.

Estelle was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Bottineau where she was active in the WELCA.  She was a active member of the Bottineau community and she enjoyed art and writing.

She is survived by her daughter, Darla (Russ) Magnuson; son, James Omar Jelleberg; grandsons, Rodell and Michael Jelleberg; brother Duane (Bette) Dahl; sisters-in-law, Julie Dahl, Margot Jelleberg, Sadie Jelleberg and Verdine Jelleberg and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.
