Eric James Sivertson, age 43 of Bottineau died Monday at his home.  A memorial service will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at then Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.

Eric James Sivertson, a son of John and Iris (Mahler) Truckowski, was born on March 3, 1974 at Bottineau.  He grew up in Bottineau an attended Bottineau High School where he was the student manager of the Stars Volleyball Team.  He graduated from BHS in 1992 and moved to Fargo.  He worked at Pizza Hut and then Domino's Pizza where he worked his way up to assistant manager.  He returned to Bottineau in 2003 and began working a Cenex.  He later became the assistant manager at Cenex.

Eric enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and the Los Angeles Rams. He loved spending time with his nephews and his niece.

Eric passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at his home in Bottineau.

He is survived by his parents, John and Iris Truckowski of Bottineau; Brother, Bill (Maria) Mahler of Gilbert, AZ; sister, Niki (Brad) Picard of Bottineau; nephews, John, Einar, Mark and Scott and a niece, Abigail.
