Eileen M. Lahr was born July 17, 1931 in Devils Lake and went to St. Mary's High School. She grew up on the family farm North of York. On August 6, 1952 she married Everett Lahr at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cando. She was an active member of St. Marks Catholic Church in Bottineau for 65 years.

She moved to Minot in 2017 and resided at Edgewood Assisted Living facility until her death on June 10, 2021 . She loved her extended family there.

She is survived by her daughter Pam (Clay) Gunderson of Green River , WY ; son Jeff Lahr of Minot , ND ; grand-daughter Stephanie (Andy) Eliason and great-grandson Cooper Everett Eliason, all of Minot , ND . Brother John (Barbara) Deplazes of Silver City, NM; brother Phil (Judy) Deplazes of Cando; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid, a private family service will be held.
