Devin Morin, age 33 of Dunseith, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at a Fargo hospital.  His memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Fiddler's Hall near Belcourt.

Devin Morin, a son of Joseph Morin and Jolene (Lafromboise) Belgarde, was born on June 13, 1992, in Rolla.  He was raised in Rolla and later graduated from Dunseith High School in 2012.  On January 24, 2019, he married Sarah Poitra in Rolla.  They lived in Bismarck where Devin worked as a mason.  They later returned to Dunseith and Devin worked for Poitra Masonry and later drove truck out in Williston.

Devin was known for his sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh.  He loved watching and singing along to the movie "Pitch Perfect".  He loved taking his kids fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah; partner, Monique Decoteau; parents, Joseph (Stephanie) Morin and Jolene (David) Belgarde; children, Maximus Morin, Nora Morin, Kane Poitra, Zylee Norquay, Brylee Morin and Xzayne Morin; siblings, Lakota Morin, Ayla Morin, Mercedes Veinne, Raelinda Schroeder, Quwaden Belgarde and Jason Belgarde and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Evelyn and Charles Lafromboise, Joseph Morin, Bernice Day and Nora "Stella" Day; sister, Alexandria Johnson and uncle, Charles Lafromboise, Jr.
