He loved sharing his cooking videos on Facebook. He was known for sharing his stories of the Turtle Mountain People, talking about tribal politics, and bringing awareness to Native American issues in Indian Country. He began his journey to the Spirit World surrounded by family on October 16, 2021.

Delvin is survived by his mother Louella Herman; his sisters Marcella Cree (Terry), Cheryl Poitra (Duane), and Shirley Cree; his brothers Roger Cree Sr.(Donelle), Mitchell Cree Sr. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
