Debra Fritz, age 64 of Bottineau passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at a Valley City nursing home.  Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, August, 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00 am until service time.

Debbie Fritz, a daughter of Harlan and Joann (Mastvelton) Helgeson was born on March 29, 1958 at Bottineau.  Debbie was a hard worker and would help anyone.  She worked in telemarking as a service representative for 15 years.  She then worked at Turtle Mountain Pork where she named every pig.  She also enjoyed caring for the elderly.

Debbie was a great cook.  She enjoyed knitting and reading Stephen King novels.  She loved animals, hugs and spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers, wind chimes, gardening and taking care of plants.

She is survived by her boyfriend, Tony Truckowski; children, Roger Fritz and his wife Shanna of Richardton, Trisha and her husband, Troy Majer of Fergus Falls and Daniel Fritz of Bottineau; grandchildren, Dylan Fritz, Logan Fritz, Arya Majer, Cayden Heiser, Kaylee Heiser, Jaycee Dressler and Skyler Dressler; mother, Joann Helgeson; brother, David Helgeson; sister, Darlene Helgeson and nieces and nephews.
