Debbie Sapp, age 65 of Bottineau, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at a Grand Forks hospital.  Her memorial service will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Metigoshe Lutheran Church.

Debra Kay Sapp, a daughter of Gerald and Delores (Berg) Brudwick, was born on October 5, 1955 in Bottineau.  She graduated from Bottineau High School in 1973.  On May 8, 1976, she married Gary Sapp at the First Lutheran Church in Bottineau.  They moved to Devils Lake in 1978 and lived in several places including Bottineau, Williston and South Heart where Debbie worked as a CNA.  They returned to Bottineau in 1985 and Debbie began working at the Bottineau Good Samaritan Center.  Gary passed away on April 28, 2016.  Debbie retired from the Bottineau Good Samaritan Center in 2018.

Debbie was a member of the Metigoshe Lutheran Church. Debbie enjoyed singing, dancing, shopping, word searches and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Stephanie Sapp and her fiancé, Jared Barbot of Bottineau and Renae Sapp and her husband, Daniel of Bottineau; brothers, Bob (Colleen) Brudwick of Bottineau and Larry (Debbie) Brudwick of Williston; her dog, Ash; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  She was also Aunty Betty to many.

Debbie's family would like to thank all of the caretakers over the last few years.  All of the friends and family who took her to and from dialysis and the many other appointments she had.  Thank you to all the wonderful people who visited her, held her hand and loved her.  Know that she loved you and that you are greatly appreciated.

The family will be holding a potluck picnic Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 4:00 pm at the Lake Metigoshe State Park.  All are welcome.
